Soccer jerseys are a necessity for
keepers to have. Without them the
goalies would be wearing the same jerseys as everyone else on the field that’s
on their team. This is a problem because
in the rules it is stated that goalies cannot have the same color as their team
or the other team. If they have the same
color as either team then they must find a different color shirt and change
into that shirt. You would think people
could just throw on any shirt and they would be perfectly fine. However, this is not a good idea to do. It is a lot better to wear a long sleeve
jersey. Short sleeves will not be good
on your elbows. When you have to make a
diving save, your elbows scrape against the ground. This can cause scrapes on your elbow that
take a while to heal and reopen the next time you dive on the scab. Long sleeves pretty much stop you from
getting any scrapes from occurring on your elbow while you are making that
spectacular save where you layout to get the ball in the corner. It is a simple concept to pick up on. If you have long sleeves instead of short
sleeves then you will end up having elbows that are scrape free. The worst scenario would be getting an
infection from the wound you get from diving.
It is not unlikely to receive an infection because the grass also goes
in with the scrape.
